In 1997, Linda Chapin, Chairman of Orange County, selected Guillermo Rodriguez as the photographer for an exclusive Presidential breakfast held a the Orange Country Convention Center.  Some of the distinguished guests were the Governor of Puerto Rico, Pedro Rosello and Mel Martinez, actual Secretary of Housing (H.U.D.)

My Background

In 1988 I received my degree in Graphic Arts and Photography from the Technical Institute of Puerto Rico. I’ve been a Portrait Wedding Photographer and Studio owner since 1991. In Puerto Rico, I belong to the Professional Wedding and Portrait Photographers International. I’ve had my images displayed in Vea, and Imagines, Magazines. I’ve also had my images published in several Professional Photographer magazines. In 1995 I was recognized for the knowledge and quality of work I brought into the Photography Industry. This recognition was presented to me by Mercedes F. McCall, former President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Being a family man, married with two children and a dog has been a real great advantage in the photography business. Most photographers focus on just the dimensions, the lighting and angle of a picture. My family however, has inspired me to view life’s most beautiful moments with passion. As a result I’ve mastered capturing, the birth of a child, the Wedding of your first son or daughter, a 50th wedding anniversary with that same enthusiasm to last you a lifetime. Choosing the right photographer for your important event can be a nerve wrecking experience; with Guess Photography you can be assured that you will receive superior service and guidance. I’ve photographed weddings as small and as intimate as 30 people at cozy romantic Bed and Breakfast and as large as 450 guest at the beautiful Rosen Plaza hotel. My work seems to attract the couples that are planning an intimate, less traditional, simple yet elegant wedding. I especially enjoy outdoor engagements, and Florida historic locations and beaches. I’m fortunate to work with an assistant and four staff photographers whom I trust. My son Guillermo Rodriguez Jr. also makes part of this great team effort. This team is always available with all of my back up equipment.

As a Graphic Designer, I pay close attention to the couples preferences and expectations in their selection of pictures. I incorporate the latest trends or traditional/ contemporary styles whichever appeals to my customer. In order to provide this unique service I constantly seek to further my knowledge through seminars, books and magazines and on occasion visit galleries and museums.
